April 21 Electricity Pricing Update

The drop in Electricity base prices has stabalised (see ASX Power Market chart for Vic) with pricing bumping along since the end of January. The ASX Forward Price Curve (Base Quarters) shows the ASX forecast value of electricity in all States as it currently stands. The trend shows some upward movement in Vic and NSW pricing so if your electricity contract is ending this year, now could be a good time to test the market and potentially forward contract your electricity.
