Embedded Network Review and Centralised Hot Water

In addition to the future ban on new electricity embedded networks, the Vic Govt has indicated that there should be appropriate regulation, monitoring and enforcement relating to currently unregulated bundled services (ie centralised hot-water, heating/cooling and unmetered gas cooktops) to ensure there is no longer separate treatment for consumers of these services. The timing for this change has not been announced but is an essential element in giving consumers receiving these services access to fair pricing and competition.
